Programs of the 100 Black Men of Macon-Middle Georgia
In September 1998, the organization instituted it’s Project Reach Scholarship Program and selected a graduating fifth grade class from an inner-city school and committed to providing full funding to all students who completed high school and enrolled in any form of post-secondary education or training at an accredited institution.
In addition to the success of Project Reach, the 100 instituted other programs to address the needs of our youth. These included:

-
Step Forward, an alternative sentencing program in partnership with the Bibb County Juvenile Court for first time non-violent offenders that involves extensive counseling, mentoring, and training session on conflict resolution and self-esteem
-
Career Fest, a college and career recruitment program: Learning for Life/Troop 100/Rites of Passage programs designed to help prepare youth to successfully handle the complexities of contemporary society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation, and self-esteem.
